Platon is an independent film director who loves discovering the strange and unexpected in the everyday. This might explain his uncanny strength to engage an audience by capturing genuine and memorable performances.

Platon's work is multi-platform: tv commercials, music clips and, more recently, film.

From big corporate brands such as Mitsubishi, Kraft, Nestle, MTV, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Johnson&Johnson, Pfizer and Yamaha to small charities and NGO's such as Operation Smile, The Aids Council and US-AID, Platon works across different budgets and campaign briefs.

His controversial music video work for local and international performers has seen him collect 2 MTV Music Video Awards.

Platon's hip-hop drama LAKEMBA screened at various local and international film festivals including the 52nd London Film Festival. The film gained a limited theatrical release at both Dendy and Hoyts cinemas in Australia and screened on TV networks across Europe. The complete film is now available for download from the iTunes Store for registered users in the USA, UK and Canada.

SUNRISE - another short drama - made with the kids from the Sunrise Children's Village in Cambodia is currently on the film festival circuit: 30th Busan Short Film Festival, 27th St Kilda Film Festival, Athens (Ohio) Film Festival, 4th Dungog Film Festival, 23rd Singapore International Film Festival, 9th Bondi Short Film Festival.
